Crescent Child Development Center, LLC is locally owned and operated by Tara Gregori and Tabatha Allen. Tara has 25 years of experience as an Early Childhood and Special Needs Educator, a Speech-Language Pathologist, and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Tabatha Allen has 6 years of experience in business finance and 12 years of experience in the field of applied behavior analysis. She is also a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and mom to a toddler. Together, they are invested in creating a unique, high-quality, collaborative and inclusive child development center that values diversity and creates parent and community partnerships to facilitate student learning.

Our Center offers inclusive childcare that promotes: development across domains; time and support to build relationships with other children and caregivers; opportunities to learn and practice social skills; exposure to a wide variety of activities and materials; opportunities for children to learn at their own pace in a supportive environment; chances to build relationships with caring adults other than parents; increased appreciation of diversity and acceptance of individual differences; and learning in an environment where everyone is invited to participate while being treated with respect and kindness. 

At our Center, children are encouraged to be inquisitive and ask questions. They are given the freedom to explore their ideas through play and conversation while receiving guidance on being aware and respectful of others' feelings and perspectives. Our teachers facilitate interactions and play between children and help children feel comfortable and develop friendships based on their shared interests. Our program creates a cooperative spirit and sense of community, where every person, including students, teachers, parents and stakeholders, is valued as a unique individual and contributing member of the greater Crescent Family. 

Our Center is a provider for the SC ABC Voucher Program, the Child Care Aware Program, Quality Enhancement, Early Head Start Program, and the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

Crescent Child Development Center, LLC is committed to excellence and facilitating the growth and development of both staff and students. Our focus is to provide an accessible, high-quality, and developmentally appropriate educational experience that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development for children 6 weeks and older in a nurturing and inclusive environment that recognizes individual learning needs. Our instruction focuses on language, literacy and communication development through participation in exploration, play and socialization, activities of daily living, and evidence-based curriculum activities.
